  Unfortunately Dr. Deyhim MISDIAGNOSED my 9 year old daughter! Dr. Deyhim placed my daughter in a boot for 5 weeks.Throughout the 5 weeks she complained about pain when walking. At her 5 week follow up he ordered an MRI after we practically begged him to do so. I had to call his office and ask for the results 3 times....I was told it was negative for a fracture, had a large hematoma, and fluid surrounding the injury...I explained her continued pain and told them we needed to come in immediately! They were very good and made an appointment for us the next day. Unfortunately Dr. Deyhim told us to remove the boot, start Physical Therapy and she would be fine. WRONG! After our daughter complained for another 10 days my Motherly instinct told me to get a second opinion. IT WAS A GOOD THING I DID!!! Chesapeake Foot and Ankle in Passdena, MD, made a same day appointment. They took 3 xrays, in the office, and showed us that her heel had a stress fracture and that she should not have been walking AT ALL on that foot! Dr. Deyheim' never took an xray because at our first appointment Dr. Deyhim told us that his Xray Technologist was "Off today". NOW SHE IS IN A CAST BELOW THE KNEE FOR AT LEAST 4 WEEKS! I am so disappointed TO SAY IT NICELY! I do not like to post bad reviews however this is unacceptable! I called Dr. Deyhim's office and told them the diagnosis and that I was very upset. While I appreciate Dr. Deyheim calling me personally within 20 minutes of my call, I did not ask him to call me, does not change the fact that he was wrong! He apologized for "Missing the fracture". I would not recommend going to Elite Orthopedics! This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE CONSIDERING THEY ARE AN ORTHOPEDIC SPECIALIST! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHESAPEAKE FOOT AND ANKLE AND WILL NOW RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE I KNOW! Thank you Dr. Sultana....I am very grateful!
