  I recently moved to the area and needed a new eye doctor. I was very specific when I scheduled my appointment for a routine eye exam. During the appointment the doctor said my eye pressure was on the high normal side. I explained that my previous doctor knew that my pressure is mostly high normal. It is just my body. The doctor says she wants to follow me some months later to recheck my pressure. I agreed. She finished the exam and at checkout I again verified that this was a routine eye exam and I had no copay. He agreed and said any testing would be covered at 100 percent. A few weeks later I get a bill for a copay from my secondary insurance. I don't have secondary insurance. I called the billing office and spoke with a rather nasty lady. She told me it was billed correctly. I called the office and was told that the appointment was scheduled wrong and the young man that checked me out was no longer working there for giving out incorrect information. I called the office manager and left messages with no reply. My insurance company told me to appeal the claim, but it would be much easier if they just rebilled me correctly. Unfortunately, I will have to drive back to my old doctor. I see from other reviews that this has happened before. I am disappointed and feel scammed by this office. To date, no one in the office will communicate with me. Please beware of this office's billing practices before you schedule an appointment.
